Rebecca Lapwood (Yard Manager)

Rebecca started riding at the age of 11 and enjoyed helping helping out at the local riding stables every weekend and during school holidays.

After completing school and A Levels Rebecca completed an HND in Equine studies at Writtle College, and during this time was out competing a coloured show cob most weekends at affiliated level. Shows included the Suffolk Show And Tendring Show.

After finishing her HND Rebecca then continued at Writtle and gained a BSc in Equine Studies and during this time also gained her BHS stage I and II exams in Horse Care and Stable Management.

Rebecca then went on to work at a Riding stables. Duties included day to day yard duties, schooling ponies and teaching people to ride.

In 2003 Rebecca Joined the Middlewick team where she enjoys hacking out her very cheeky veteran pony Chewy and has also taken the challenge of re training a racehorse.

Kerrie Grant (Part-time yard assistant)

Kerrie started riding at the age of 10 and eventually progressed to competing at senior affiliated BSJA.

After leaving school she worked on a point to point yard, the work included schooling the race horses and stable duties.

Kerrie then went on to work for Jo Musto with her event horses, duties included schooling the horses, preparing & going to events.

She then went on to work for Zoe Bates at her show jumping yard preparing the horses for all international shows.

At the age of 24 Kerrie passed both her BHS stage I and II exams in Horse Care and Stable Management.

Kerrie joined the Middlewick team in 2010, along with her horse Archie who is also on livery at the yard.

We are also supported by a team of friendly, knowledgeable part-time staff.
